Annual Investment Program

The Annual Investment Program or AIP is used for planning and investment programming of the city which constitutes the annual slice of the Local Development Investment Program* referring to the indicative yearly expenditure requirements of the LGU's programs, projects and activities (PPAs) which shall be integrated in the annual budget.  For budgeting purposes, AIP constitutes the total resource requirements for the budget year, including the detailed anual allocation of each PPA in the annual slice of the LDIP ad the regular operational budget items broken down into Personal Services, Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses and Capital Outlay.

The AIP contains the following :

1.  Introduction  - a summary of the fund source and allocation for the fiscal year
2.  Details of Program/Project/Activity by Sector
       2.1  General Public Services Sector
       2.2  Social Services Sector
       2.3  Economic Services Sector

3.  Annexes
       3.1  City Development Council Resolution
       3.2  SP Resolution Approving the Programs/Projects Funded by the 20% Development Fund 


*Local Development Investment Program (LDIP) is the basic document linking the local plan to the budget.  It contains prioritized list of PPAs which are derived from the CDP matched with financing sources, and to be implemented annually within a three- to six-year period.  The first three years of the LDIP shall be firmed up along the priorities of the incumbent local chief executives.
